Taiwan Discovery Tour

Day 1: Taipei – Sun Moon Lake

Tour guide pick you up from hotel and depart for Sun Moon Lake by bus. Day tour visiting Wenwu Temple, Tehua Village, Tse-en Pagoda, Holy Monk Shrine.

Day 2: Sun Moon Lake – Fo Guang Shan Buddhish Monastery- Kaohsiung (B)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. During the walking tour around the monastery you can communicate with some of the monks and nuns. You may also taste the local Buddhist vegetarian lunch. Afternoon transfer to Kaohsiung, the second largest city of Taiwan. Tour visit the Former British Consulate, Love River and Lio Ho Night Market.

Day 3: Kaohsiung – Kenting – Zhiben Hot Springs (B)

Morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park provide its main attractions. Stops will be made at Eluanbi light house, Maobitou coastal scenic area and Longpan Park. Continuously we will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway.

Day 4: Taitung – Hualien (B)

After breakfast transfer to the East Coast National Scenic Area, known as “Taiwan’s last unspoiled land”, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Our tour will stop at Siaoyeliou, Sansientai, Stone Steps, Caves of the Eight Immortals. Late afternoon, we will proceed to Hualien.

Day 5: Hualien – Taroko Gorge – Taipei (B)

After breakfast, take day tour to the Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Tour will visit the Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang and marble factory. Later afternon, transfer back to Taipei via the Su-Hwa Highway and Hsuei-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Kms). Arrive Taipei around 7 PM.
